Fourmile
Canyon. If you are a winter traveler,
please be mindful of the snow and the angles
within the Canyon. Although the Canyon walls
(in general) are not very tall, there are many
places where the slope angle is steep... and
so there is potential for AVALANCHE.
There are NO FEES for using
this area but parking is limited so you may
be required to park down the road from the trailhead.

Information" and "Driving

Trail
Description:
The
trail starts out in the small parking lot and
winds its way up Fourmile Canyon. As you climb
the trail will get narrower and less established.
There are many stream crossings along the way.
For the most part, the trail is not terribly
steep. The trail officially ends and there is
an informal route-trail option to follow. That
addtional route-trail will take you to a fenced
off area and you will have to turn around. For
more information, please download the "Waypoints
& Tracks" GPS file (below).
