Park Description:
Located near (just north) of Boulder, Colorado... Anne U White is fun little excursion for snowshoeing, hiking, and cross country skiing. It is a great destination for everyone because it is not terribly steep. Regardless of your fitness level, you will enjoy this trip as the trail takes you into

Fourmile Canyon. If you are a winter traveler, please be mindful of the snow and the angles within the Canyon. Although the Canyon walls (in general) are not very tall, there are many places where the slope angle is steep... and so there is potential for AVALANCHE. There are NO FEES for using this area but parking is limited so you may be required to park down the road from the trailhead. For more information, please download the "Area Information" and "Driving Directions" pdfs (below).

Park Affiliation:

Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (303)-678-6200

Trail Description:

The trail starts out in the small parking lot and winds its way up Fourmile Canyon. As you climb the trail will get narrower and less established. There are many stream crossings along the way. For the most part, the trail is not terribly steep. The trail officially ends and there is an informal route-trail option to follow. That addtional route-trail will take you to a fenced off area and you will have to turn around.
